How We Review Sweepstakes Casinos
Real Data. Transparent Rankings.
Scores combine Player Voice (35 pts) and Casino Investment (scaled to 65 pts). Rankings are relative, so leaders must outperform peers.
The Benefits of Relative Rankings
Last updated: August 2025
We compare some inputs against peers instead of fixed cutoffs. Therefore, top scores are earned by outperforming the field, not by clearing a bar.
Merit only: Leaders must beat competitors at the time we calculate.
Harder to game: Rank mapping plus sample-size checks blunt survey inflation.
Market-responsive: As offers change, scores shift automatically without rule tweaks.
Player Voice
How relative ranking works
We rank casinos by their NPS. Rank → points mapping gives up to 20 pts for the casino and up to 15 pts for the parent company. This forces direct comparison and blocks self-inflation.
Why it matters
Player Voice keeps the rankings honest. Real users surface issues and reward good service. We convert sentiment into points by relative ranking, so a casino only earns the top score by beating peers, not by hitting an arbitrary threshold.
Casino Net Promoter Score: 20pts
What it is
One question: “How likely are you to recommend this casino to a friend?” (0–10 scale).
Promoters: 9–10. Passives: 7–8. Detractors: 0–6.
NPS = %Promoters − %Detractors. Range −100 to +100.
How we score casino NPS (20 pts)
We rank casinos by NPS and map rank to 1–20 points. Top gets 20. Bottom gets 1. We scale linearly if the field is larger than 20. Ties share the band.
Why we use casino-level NPS
It measures the brand you actually play on. Policies, promos, and support differ by brand even within the same company. Casino NPS therefore reflects the real experience.
Parent Company Net Promoter Score: 15pts
How we score
We compute a parent-level NPS from verified reviews across its brands, weighted by response count. We rank parents and map rank to 1–15 points. If a casino has no verifiable parent NPS, Player Voice relies on the casino score and we re-normalize to keep PV at 35 pts: PV = (Casino NPS points) × (35 ÷ 20).
Why this method
Operations, risk controls, and culture flow from the parent. A strong or weak parent affects every brand it owns, so we reflect that track record across every casino under their holding companies.
Casino Investment
Casino Investment (65 pts) measures the concrete value a casino puts on the table and the maturity of its operations. We credit clear rules and fair terms, reachable support, reputable provider coverage, breadth of game types, steady no-purchase Sweeps Coins, strong first-purchase value, and practical payout options. Some items are checklist-based and not relative (T&Cs, Support, Providers, Games, Payout Methods). Others are market-relative with caps and diminishing returns (Daily Free SC, First Purchase). Only publicly verifiable features and live tests count; Gold-coin promos and deposit-only payout rails do not.
Terms and Conditions: 10pts
Clear rules are the baseline. We audit the official sweepstakes rules, help pages, and redemption instructions for clarity and fairness. Scoring is checklist based, not relative. Each verified “Yes” below earns 1 point for a total of 10. Material gaps or contradictions are flagged and may trigger a re-review.

Adds visibility and accountability. Must be an official support handle/server, actively monitored, and linked from the main site.
Provider Diversity: 10pts
Association signal. We score how many of the market’s most‐carried (“Top 10”) game studios a casino actually partners with. Big providers choose who they work with, not the other way around, so their presence signals standards and operational maturity effectively creating an in-market validation process.
How we score
Build the current Top 10 provider list by prevalence across all casinos.
For each casino, count distinct providers it works with from the top-10 list.
Points = Number of Providers in Top 10 that the casino works with.
The Top 10 list is recomputed regularly. If the market has <10 providers, the max equals that number. Unverified provider claims score 0 until confirmed.
Why this method
Chosen, not chasing: Large studios vet operators for KYB/compliance, uptime, payments, and support.
Brand protection: Top providers guard their reputation and drop weak partners, so alignment predicts higher standards.
Operational maturity: Multiple major integrations require stable wallets, content pipelines, versioning, and incident handling.
Integrity and resilience: Big-studio titles are audited and widely tested; multiple providers add redundancy and leverage to fix issues faster.
Games Available: 10pts
We credit casinos that cover many game types. This improves player choice and shows real integration effort.
How we score
We track 22 game types (e.g., slots, blackjack, roulette, keno, live dealer, crash, video poker, etc.).
For each casino, we count distinct types present (at least one playable title).
Points = Count of unique game types with a max of 10. No bonus for duplicate titles or reskins.
If a type is unclear or unverified, it doesn’t count until confirmed.
Why this method
Rewards variety, not catalog padding.
Stable and comparable across sites.
Harder to game than raw “number of games.”
Daily Free SweepCoins: 10pts
What we measure: the amount of redeemable Sweeps Coins a player can claim for free on a typical day, with no purchase required.
How we score
- Convert all free claims to a daily equivalent (e.g., daily login, inbox drops, weekly claims ÷ 7). Gold Coins and spend-gated promos are excluded.
- Verify from rules/help pages and test claims. If not verifiable, score = 0.
- Rank casinos by daily-equivalent SC, highest to lowest.
- Points = rank is mapped to 1–10. Ties share the band. No purchase is a required condition.
Why this method
Customer benefit: free SC converts to real prizes.
Operator investment: giving away SC is acquisition risk; higher steady giveaways signal confidence and spend in building the brand.
First Purchase Package: 10pts
We reward clear, high-value first-purchase bundles that include redeemable Sweeps Coins. This shows operator investment and gives players real value. Scored relatively with diminishing returns so money can’t buy a perfect 10.
How we score
Verify a public first-purchase package and that it grants redeemable SC (not Gold-coin only). Packages must be priced at $10.00 USD or more to quality for scoring.
Convert the package to a normalized value: effective redeemable SC per $ for the best new-user first-purchase bundle.
Rank casinos by that value, highest to lowest.
Map rank to 1–10 pts on a diminishing-returns curve; hard cap at 10.
If no verifiable first-purchase value exists, score = 0.
Why it matters
Player benefit: more redeemable value on day one.
Operator investment: upfront spend and risk to win a customer.
Market fairness: relative scoring adjusts as offers change and blocks oversized promos from buying perfect scores.
Payout Methods: 5pts
Small credit for more redemption rails. This helps players cash out the way they prefer and shows basic operational integrations. Low impact as casinos need to have different payout methods to operate.
How we score
Recognized rails: Crypto, Digital Wallet, Bank Transfer, Card Payment, Gift Card.
Count distinct rails the casino offers for redemption.
Points = Count of payout methods → 0–5.
Only publicly documented, working cashier options count. Deposit-only methods don’t. Duplicates of the same rail count once.
Why it matters
Player choice and fewer blocked cash-outs.
Redundancy if one provider is down.
Signals basic ops maturity without overweighting a table-stakes feature.
